Chatter marks - a sign of lack of fine tuning

Chatter marks are periodically repeating sequences of more or less deep indentations in the processed panel. The causes are vibrations in the sanding machine. These occur when assemblies such as the sanding belt connection, contact drums, guide rollers or tension drums are not optimally adjusted or tuned.
